![]() This project was a complete remodel of a small derelict cabin on a non-conforming lot. Building restrictions included staying within the existing building footprint, not disturbing the site, no new foundation, and no removal of existing vegetation without prior approval of a remedial vegetative plan. The locally quarried landscape stone creates a pedestal for the house while protecting the delicate hillside from erosion. Click on the thumbnails below to see a larger version of each photo.
The floor plan is open focusing on both the fireplaces and the river views.
A third-level loft opens on the main level living room allowing for additional space for guests.
The rustic yet elegant exterior has natural cedar shingles, stone veneer and carefully crafted trim and eave details
Before views of the small cabin that was completed redone, yet on the same "footprint."
