This project was a complete remodel of a small derelict cabin on a non-conforming lot. Building restrictions included staying within the existing building footprint, not disturbing the site, no new foundation, and no removal of existing vegetation without prior approval of a remedial vegetative plan.

The locally quarried landscape stone creates a pedestal for the house while protecting the delicate hillside from erosion.

The floor plan is open focusing on both the fireplaces and the river views.
A third-level loft opens on the main level living room allowing for additional space for guests.
